Day 7, Monday

I went hunting with Kim's husband Mike, Zack, Jeff, Kendall and Mark. We hunted on 50 acres in North Vernon, Indiana. We shot a 260 pound, 10-point buck. Everyone was excited over this!

Day 6, Sunday

I went the church with Cheri & Michele this morning.  I learned how to set up a computer and projector, use PowerPoint, and work a sound board.  Their church meets in a theatre that was built in the 1800s.  The 1988 movie "Eight Men Out" starring Charlie Sheen and John Cusack shot some of their scenes in the lobby of the theatre.

Day 5, Saturday

Today I went to Shelby & Emma's basketball games.  Here are some pictures of the day:

Day 4 Evening

Tonight I had a great time jamming with Patchwork (Rick Garrett & Holly Smith) and Dean Phelps with Doug Lofton on upright bass.  We played at Strange Brew Coffee House.  I wore my new tie-dyed shirt and played one of my new guitars.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Day 4, Friday

I went shopping today with the money I made working at A&M Door this week. I bought 2 shirts and some guitars, a banjo, and a dobro!

We also stopped by Cheri's friend Suzy's office and I had my picture taken with the bear in her office.

The high today was 60 - last night's low was 36.

Day 3, Thursday

Today I went to school with THE Flat Shelby.  She has her own blog, too, and you can see it by clicking here.

Today's weather was sunny again .... another 57 day, and not as much wind. This morning it was 32 and the cars were all frosty!

It was a fun day at her school.  Here's the pictures:

Had to make lots of copies for the Teachers. Man was that hard work. Those papers were HEAVY!

I got to get my picture taken with the Perfect Attendance Group in the Greyhound Academy. They were so nice to let me join. I can't believe how many went to school everyday!!

We were trying to find out some fun facts about Mercury for a class project. We got to get on the computer to try to find some cool information. It was really neat to get to do this during class time.

In 6th grade they switch classes. I had to go to the locker to get the books that I would need for Language and Reading Classes.

I stopped to get a drink before heading back to class. I ended up getting in my seat just in time!

Evening of Day 2

After the Children's Museum I went with Kim to martial arts, boxing, and to see her mother-in-law at the nursing home.

Day 2, Wednesday

I started out my day at A&M Door helping Jerry work on a door.  This afternoon Cheri & Michele took me to Children's Museum of Indianapolis which is the largest children's museum in the world!  There were dinosaurs and race cars and Star Wars and lots of other things to see and do!

After we left the Children's Museum - we went to the Indianapolis Museum of Art where we took my picture with the number 7 because Jeg and I are 7 years old - and the number 1 because we are in the first grade!

Today's weather was sunny with a little wind.  It reached 57 degrees.  Tonight's it's going to be 33!  I'm glad we have heat!

I arrived!

I arrived in Indianapolis today from Kentucky. It was 59 degrees and cloudy. Tonight's low is supposed to be 38! bbbbrrrrr!

I have an exciting week planned! Tomorrow I'm going to learn about Indianapolis and some of it's history.
